Dr Yeung is an esteemed scholar in textile and clothing. He was the Vice President (Academic Development) of PolyU and is now the Chairman and Fellow of Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel, Fellow of the Textile Institute in UK, Chartered Textile Technologist, Fellow of Society of Dyers and Colourists, Adjunct Professor of Textiles and Clothing in PolyU, and Founding Chairman of The Society of Textile Scientists and Engineers in Asia. Dr Yeung served the Board of Directors of the Association for 6 years since the establishment till December 2018.
