He has been dedicated to formulating data-driven, user-centric and outcome-based policies and supports measures to accelerate the development of digital government and smart city, including adopting "iAM Smart" to realise "single portal for online government services", organising large-scale cybersecurity attack and defence drills to strengthen Hong Kong's cyber security, and proactively facilitate Hong Kong's integration into the overall technology development of the country. Keen to share his wealth of professional knowledge and experience with the PolyU community, Ir Wong not only supports various University events but also serves as a mentor under the "INSPIRE" Mentorship Programme, sparing no effort in giving back to his alma mater.
