Members Profiles - Ms Jessie YU Sau-chu

From a single mother to a successful woman, Ms. Yu has rewritten her own life and helped many helpless single parents with her unparalleled perseverance and firm belief in self-reliance. She pays particular attention to the well-being of women, children, single-parent families, and disadvantaged communities. She has contributed a lot to the social welfare sector. She was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2003, was appointed as Justice of the Peace in 2007, and was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2011 by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to the recognition of her significant contributions to the community. Ms. Yu was also awarded an Honorary Fellow by Lingnan University in 2020.  She also served the Association as Honorary Treasurer from 2012 to 2016.
