Members Profiles - The Hon. Perry YIU Pak-leung

The Hon. Perry Yiu Pak-leung has been leading China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited, one of the largest travel agents in Hong Kong. A prominent figure in the tourism sector, Mr Yiu is firmly committed to the industry, holding key positions such as Member of the Tourism Strategy Committee, Board Member of the Airport Authority, Vice Chairperson of the Travel Industry Training Advisory Committee, and Honorary President of the Hong Kong Association of China Travel Organisers, while actively fostering communication between the industry and the government as a member of the Legislative Council. By championing the growth of "Five-Colour Tourism", promoting the integrated development of culture, sports and tourism, and advancing the mega event economy, he injects vital momentum into the sector. In addition, Mr Yiu has been deeply rooted in Kwun Tong for 20 years; during his 12 years as a member of the District Council, he successfully built Ping Tin Estate into an accessible and elderly-friendly community. Equally passionate about youth development and community service, Mr Yiu currently serves as Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Army Cadets Association and contributes to his alma mater as a PolyU Council Member and Director of the Hotel ICON, PolyU's teaching and research hotel, providing ardent professional support to the University.
