On 16 December 2024, PolyU presented the "Outstanding PolyU Alumni Award 2024" to four distinguished graduates at the award presentation ceremony and dinner at Hotel ICON. They are: Mr Chiang Tung-keung; Dr Shen Peng; Mr Banting Sze Wai-pan; and The Hon. Perry Yiu Pak-leung, MH, JP.
On the same day, the Association hosted a Welcome Reception to warmly welcome the new members. The Board of Directors, including Ir Dr Samson Tam Wai-ho, JP, President of the Association, as well as Mr Dennis Ho Chiu-ping, Mr Elton Ng Chun-ting, Mr Stephen Au Ling-ming, Ir Daniel Lai, BBS, JP, Ir Prof. Alfred Sit Wing-hang, GBS, JP, and Ms Mary Yu Wah, extended their warm greetings to the awardees. It was a joyous and memorable occasion for everyone.
