On 27 February 2018, the Outstanding PolyU Alumni Association held its 2017/2018 Annual General Meeting at PolyU Staff Club Restaurant. At the meeting, the members received the President's Report, adopted the Accounts of the Association for the year ended 30 June 2016, and re-appointed KPMG to be the Honorary Auditors for the ensuring year. Twelve members of the Association, representative from the Honorary Auditors and PolyU representatives attended the meeting.
The Association's CNY Luncheon was held after the Annual General Meeting. At the luncheon, student mentees of the OPAA Mentees' Circle shared their career aspiration with the members, and discuss the use of the mobile payment platform in daily life. The Board of Directors took this opportunity to present a farewell gift to Dr Kitty Yam, Associate Vice President (Institutional Advancement) and Director of Alumni Affairs and Development of PolyU, to extend their heartfelt gratitude for her invaluable support to the Association over the years.
The 5th Board of Directors Meeting for the term of 2016-2018 was conducted on the same event date.
