Outstanding PolyU alumnus, veteran physiotherapist and mountaineer Elton Ng Chun-ting, has recently surmounted another formidable challenge by reaching the summit of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, the two magnificent mountains in Hawaii, USA. The 4,207m Mauna Kea is one of the tallest mountains in the world and Mauna Loa is the largest active shield volcano on earth in both mass and volume. Elton is the youngest Hongkonger ever to have summited the eight highest peaks across seven continents in the world.

Driven by an intense passion to strive for excellence in his profession and community work, Elton has imbued the society with positive energy in many ways. His harrowing adventures will continue to inspire others to take up challenges and stay positive in life.
